On 22 April, at the Aquarno Consortium headquarters in Santa Croce sull’Arno, the Earth Day initiative took place for World Earth Day.
Can Yaman wanted to take part in this event to send a message of peace to the world. He met some young Ukrainian children hosted by Italian families from the towns of Fucecchio, Santa Croce sull’Arno and Castelfranco di sotto.
To mark the event, some trees were planted as part of the “A tree for the future” initiative, promoted by the Carabinieri Forestry Corps, to represent the environmental sustainability of the planet.
The three mayors of the aforementioned towns and other representatives from the area were also present to promote the initiative and deliver this important message. For the children, for peace and for the environment.
